About me
I am a Licensed professional Counselor with over 30 years experience. Most of my work has been in outpatient behavioral health clinics. I enjoy working with adults, up to and including seniors. My clients and colleagues have described me as understanding, easy to talk to, supportive and respectful. While I will tailor my treatment to yourspecific needs, I generally use cognitive-behavioral therapy with a humanistic, client-centered approach. I actively share my thoughts and ideas, with the understanding that my opinions are shared for your consideration. I enjoy working with individuals - whether they have depression, anxiety, situational crises, self-esteem issues, and grief and loss.
Coronavirus is affecting so many of us in so many ways. We are faced with stresses that we are not accustomed to handling. I would offer help and support for this novel (and for some, extremely difficult and painful) process.
I look forward to collaborating with you to help you make the positive changes that are important to you.
Respectfully,
Stan Schleifer, M.C., LPC
